Valentine’s Tomato Bites
Don’t be deceived. These tiny bites pack a lot of flavour.
- Yields: 20 Tomato Bites
- Preparation: 180 Minutes
Ingredients
- 20 cherry tomatoes
- 1 lb (450g) bacon, cooked, crumbled
- 1/2 cup (125mL) mayonnaise, or salad dressing
- 1/3 cup (75mL) green onion, chopped
- 3 tbsp (45mL) SALERNO - Grated 100% Parmesan Cheese
- 2 tbsp (30mL) fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cut a thin slice off of each cherry tomato top. Scoop out and discard pulp.
- Invert the tomatoes on a paper towel to drain.
- In a small bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Spoon into tomatoes. Refrigerate several hours.
